im planning on building a mery-2 hard top kit from Carkit inc and im wondering if i will fit in this vehicle. I am 6'.4" and 285lbs and its a real tight fit with the stock fiero and the stock interior. how much headroom will be lost when the new body goes in ?

thanks in advance

I would say not neccessarly true though, The fiero has more head room than a mercy and diablo bodies, Im 6ft and If I pad interior my seats too much then Im in big trouble!

if you are 6-4 I would recommend lowering your floor pan just around the seat area by about an inch or so, also depends on interior and your body structure as well, some people have long leggs and a short torso or vise versa...just my .02

My 6'2 son would barely fit. I would agree you will have to do some modifications

go flinstone and remove the floor pan Wink just kidding
I am only 5'10 and sure it is not super comfortable, so i can imaging what a taller person go through.

put 20" rims on the car ,drop the floor pan around the drivers seat 2" an set the body height at the windshield tray of the fiberglass body 1" above the metal fiero 2nd dash skin this will give you 3" total an raise the top edge of the windscreen by 1" more
