Doesn't the Diablo drive shaft go down the right side of the sump? There is a longitudinal depression in the side of the sump and the differential is off center.
But how do you make or acquire a v-drive? Are there vehicles (besides Lamborghini) that use them? As you can tell, I don't know much about this subject but it has intriquing possibilities. And, a chance to use a V-10 would be hard to resist, cost not withstanding. Also, mating it with the Viper tx would give you, at least, a fighting chance with the California EPA (or is it BAR) referees.

Im not sure on the Diablo thing,but my question is would the V-10 fit in the Countach using the Vdrive configuration? What are the dimensions of the BMW engine vs. the Viper engine? is there even a enough room to put all of that in a Countach?

sounds like a good idea! But I've never seen one. It would be nice to have a kit car like the Dodge Viper is very limited it would be better if someone would produce molds from the earlier models.
