All.....

What is everyone’s preference for a clutch for standard 5 speed transmission (Fiero getrag/Muncie/Isuzu) Mated with a SBC 350 v8

Centerforce or Spec or some other off-brand
What stage is preferred...

I have been looking at Spec clutch both
Stage 3 (SC883 cost $309.00) and
stage 3+ (SC883F cost $465.00)

Then there is the Centerforce DF201914

By the way I only intend to drive it around town not drag racing but want to have the power when needed..

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated

Thanks
CCIE

CCIE,
I'm using a Centerforce clutch.
What I like about it is the pressure plate has weights on it that use centrifugal force to exert extra pressure on the clutch disc at higher RPMs. It has a nice feel for normal use but will grip tighter at the higher RPMs.

RT...

Thank you for responding. Which model are you using? Are you using a stage 3? Also if I recall you have a Audi with a LSx correct???

Thank You

CCIE, I have an LT1 (highly modified) attached to a ZFII (limited slip differential model). I'd have to check which stage they call the clutch, it has been a long time since I bought it.
The ZFII has a Ford front spline so I'm using a Ford clutch. I had my flywheel drilled and tapped to match. It was a lot easier and cheaper to do that tan try to buy a Chevy pressure plate and a Ford disc.
