prety decided but i dont have free time yet. Embarassed Up here I have a choice between the murc for 3K$, a DB7 for 2.5K$, an F360 for 1.5K$. The DB7 seems the easiest of all because of a lot front nose, but it's impossible to compare it with the beauty of a murcielago Laughing
I might find a solution in a few weeks

hehe... no up here I mean in Canada.
and I mean 3K$ per day

Since the main problem is not to modify the structure of the donner car the idea of replicating a front engine supercar(ie aston martin or bently) makes it much easier without having to touch the frame.
But those car are
1- very hard to find parts
2- less interresting than the murci

I done the math on my murcie on a boxster chassis and it appears there is enough room up front for an LS1 in it. I also ran accross a guy who put an LT1 in his boxster.
Either way, this is the current plan. C5 corvette drivetrain. After measuring more I think I can cutout/remove what I dont need for the front to clear the engine, clearance for the small "bell" and all the room in the world in the rear for the trans/diff. However, this is still a tossup as its going to be VERY tight IF it will even fit at all. I just dont want to end up with a rear heavy car that feels light in the front at anything over 70mph as I plan on running this car on several diff tracks. I will probably end up running the maxton mile once(if) I ever get the turbokit installed. I definatly dont need the car feeling light in the front at 150mph+.
I think this is where my build differs from most. Although mine will look very murcie like, I am not going for a replica. I just wanted the body to look great and be over a great performing car. I will not even be running lamboghini wheels

Trying to fig this site out, lol. Not sure if my previous post worked. I am building a FRONT ENGINE Murc kit (from Carkitinc.com), the Mercy 4. It looks good to me. They are currently in litigation with Lamborghini however, and may not can sell any kits during this time. Not sure. The owner, Jackie, has been great to help me. I live in Tx, and drove to AL to get the kit. Anyway, it's a front engine and it has 420bhp to the ground, lol! Hope this helps out on the discussion. Kevin

I respect you for using mercy 4. But i would use mercy 1, 2, or rave 4 before i go mercy 4. Not long or original enough.
