Looks nice.

Sometimes I think about if I'm gonna spend about $100k for a top notch replica, then why not drop another $20/30k and buy the real deal?

What about upkeep costs on a real one vs a replica?

What if I don't have an authorized Lambo dealer in my area, could I trust get a top notch BMW mechanic for tune ups, oil change, etc?

The nearest dealer is about 2 hours away ...

Guy, I'm new here ... please go easy !!! Wink

Example ....

This seller wants $95k for his Replica ....
http://lambobuilder.com/forsale/blueRoadster.pdf

This seller asking $113k ( The Real Deal )
http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/ctd/3900648934.html

All that said, why not pay the extra $13k and buy the real deal?

On a side note and heads up, I firmly believe a top notch Replica can perform very closely to a real one. So it's not a V12 ok, but a high powered modded out V8 and the they are very close - performance wise. I am not a prude and I believe in creativity and I'd stack Dale's black 6.0 Replica build up against any real one, any day of the week.

However, sometimes I catch myself thinking if I should borrow the extra cash and get the real deal.

Thanks guys and great to be a member here! Smile

I hate to break it to you but just because its got a V8 in it doesn't mean it will perform good. Look at V8 Archie's Fiero's. They're expensive yet they can't beat a stock C5 Corvette.

A 3800 S/C Fiero is faster than a LS4 Fiero and there's plenty of evidence of that on the net. From time slips to video. I believe if your going to build a Lambo to best the performance of an original you should consider a 3800 Turbo or a DOHC 3.4 Turbo.

If i had a lambo i would mostly cruise slow and show off. For speed i would get a bmw v12 if i could but more realistically a cadillac 4.9 would do just fine.
