Anybody help me out on the height of the center console? I have a replica frame and the 6.0 style center console. I'd like to know the distance between the frame rail (1.5" sq. tubing that forms the bottom of the drive tunnel) and the top of the console at the shifter end. This will help me position everything else.
Thanks,
Mike

I had an NAERC chassis with the fiberglass tunnel as the structural member. The shifter for the Porsche 915 was above the fiberglass console by several inches. I no longer have the car but if you have my eManual, pictures are on page 15 of the interior section

Thanks Dale. I have a fiberglass console that I bought from Marcelo (MMBrazil) and I'm just trying to get it mounted at the right height. I've been meaning to purchase your emanual, but just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

Hi Daywilm,

The center console has a lip on the back, that lip fits out side the main tubes. and the border of the console sits on top of the main tube all the way to front. The front will meet the dash and will go a little inside the dash, like 0.75.
