All,

Has anyone changed out a broken door glass on a NAERC Diablo 60?
What's the best way to do this specially if the door skins are bonded together.
How about a IFG 60?
Any advise is greatly appreciated

I have replaced glass on the yellow SV with door skin in place. Remove inner panel and make sure window is all the way down. if they used the thunderbird tracks and fiero motor, you should be able to remove window from bottom track and unbolt the thunderbird track inside the door. Pull glass out and then install glass in reverse order. Normally bond glass to bottom track with silicone sealant.

I have done it several times too. The laminated glass is not a good choice for the door glass. Seems to be a common problem.

I had scratch resistant polycarbonate passenger and driver side windows made based on AGP glass for my IFG 6.0 Lambo.
People can not tell they aren't glass and you can cut them to custom fit also.
You can see my car in the October 2016 issue of Reincarnation magazine to see how the windows look, if you like.
The company that built them is www.opticarmourwindows.com.
Ask for Aaron ,if you decide to check in about this.
You can scratch them if you wanted to..but you can scratch glass also.
So far I am extremely happy with them.

vt6lambo - How did you give them the dimensions and shape of the windows? Can you give us an idea of the ballpark cost?

Thanks

Supercobra... I sent them one of my AGP side windows and they copied it from that.
You can call them ..they say I own the mold since I paid for the designing of it...but I think you should be able to buy window around $300 or less each.
Call them and see.
I am really happy with them. Talk to salesman,Aaron, if he is still there.

I have the real AGP Coupe Diablo glass for sale if you are interested and its not much more then the cost mentioned above. Why go with junk Plexiglas that screams replica and will eventually become oblique and warp under suns UV ect ect ect when you can have the real glass. Makes no sense to me...
I have the last of the AGP inventory and AGP is no longer making them. Get them while I have some left

JD... It seem the NAERC laminated glass had many issues with quality. Its not the same as AGP Glass. I have the last of there inventory and I have mishandled some of the glass by accident while packaging it for shipment several times including dropping it, dropping things on top of it, forcing it to fit (ofcourse not too much) but with no issues. I have gone through 3 NAERC glasses, all junk, all broken and all very very expansive. JUST JUNK. They seems to break if you look at them wrong let alone sneezing towards them.... and forget calling them names.... sheeeeeshhhhh
AGP coupe glass is Laminated and it looks exactly like my 1991 Factory OEM glass which also is laminated as well. From what I can tell, looks like the Factory coupe Diablo, at least up to 1998 used laminated glass. I will post pic of my real 91 and later factory glass soon to compare.
By the way AGP Glass is a exact copy of the OEM Factory glass.
