Windshield is out of my head. I am going to try acrylic for the glass. I have molding that accepts the glass (acrylic) and fits over the flange welded to the frame. Will se how good I am at shaping 1/4" plastic later on.

Finally got car primed with a catalytic primer. 100 degree heat really makes it difficult. Actually had to store primer in fridge to keep it from setting up in gun. That happened 3 times before I could get it all primed.

There is just so much I like about that car.
The nose, the hood scoop, the side crease, the taillights, the wheels. It has the right proportions. Nice!

Mighty fine work Dale. And I know what you mean about the heat in Austin. My daughter lives there and it can be brutal. Keep up the good work and, of course, please keep us in the loop.

I forgot that's where you're at, I'm moving out to the Austin area soon. Will have to look you up once I'm there. I'll be building a place out in Lago Vista. Basically building myself a shop and the house over top of the shop. Smile We'll have to take a ride in the 100+ mpg Diablo once I get it out there. Should be next summer I do believe.

Thanks,
Coop
