anyone considered the 32v 4.6L DOHC ALUMINATOR

Model: M-6007-A46NA

http://fordracingparts123.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34_35&products_id=512

Looks wicked. I read the redline at 7200 rpm and rev like a motorcycle.
I'd go nice with 180 degree headers on it and bolt it to a Porsche g50 trans.
---------------------------------------------
listen to that sound! 32 dohc v8s kick ass
this is the 5.0. The 4.6 in the link above screams even more
couldnt find a 4.6 aluminator on youtube,
only 5.0ci videos. It's a different engine block and heads entirely
but it's very similar in sound. the 4.6 is higher pitched.

http://youtu.be/JAAuyaYpFTU
and
http://youtu.be/QSlHi7b0rwk

imagine that sound with the samller 4.6ci race engine
a lightweight flywheel and 180 degree headers
*and no glasspacks with backpressure to slow down the engine revs
like this guy has on his cobra. I think I might have a winner,
if my project ever takes off that is, lol

update: I'm now leaning towards the Lexus 4.0 V8 1UZ-fe engine.
http://youtu.be/wdhiRmMT0EE

There is a healthy aftermarket, low jdm prices, and it's not too powerful
that it breaks the Audi 016 trans. I also found a source for an adapter plate

I can get a turnkey ITB setup for about $1800 from OBX
then i'll get the throttle response i want.

Sorry , but the sounds remind me of a muscle car from the fifties or the sixties , build 180 degree headers and change the sound. The v-12 BMW
would sound like a real Lamborghini if you use the real muffler,if you could find one,and if you got the money, and if and if and on and on goes our money. Rod use to have a muffler if he has not sold it.

I heard a hot rodded M70 and I know what you mean the 12 little pistons roaring make a specific sound if your ears are keen enough. However, I was disappointed with the M70 sound I heard compared to a lambo V12. I'm not sure what it is, i think it's the induction noise. Something was very off. I've only heard that one engine, but it was only a few months ago. So it's fresh in my mind.

How the M70 engine revvs may also be a tell tale sign it's a BMW V12
Lambo's reciprocating assembly is so lightweight, it revs to 8000 in 0.000001 second. (exaggerating) and a 1uzfe replicates that nature with $900 in OBX ITBs, in my opinion better and cheaper but it's all in my head. I'd have to hear them side by side to get a non-biased opinion.

I think a Ferrari F430 V8 sounds so much like a F60 V12 I can't tell the difference. By the time the gases get to the exhaust tip, they sound the same to me.

check it out, this is a LS7 with 180s http://youtu.be/dnDNqECVt9c

Looks like a descent engine! But I prefer having a Japanese or a tuner engine under the hood! Since it's gonna perform the same but consumes less fuel right?
