I believe the purple roadster belonged to lambobuild33 a while ago. It now belongs to Dave out of New York. Our much respected brethren Riceburner98 has just finished installing a Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 on Dave's car.
It was pretty cool talking to Rob and telling him the numbers to type into the program and then listening to it start and run.

Hi Guys:

Well CONGRATULATIONS are in order.

Rice, you must be expanding your talents and Jim, I guess the Haltech project has moved along quite well. Very Happy

I would like to see another video and some description of what you started with and how you got to where you are:
- Engine
- Donor materials
- Adapter
- Trans
- Radiators

dB.........................

Couldn't have done it without you Jim!

I've put soooo much work into that car over the past month or more.. I've had to put the HVAC stuff off to the side for a while, and hopefully can get back on it now!

It still needs tuning, I just did a lot of installing and wiring.. Made a bunch of parts, redid the front wiring harness, Koni switch.. Don't know how I'd ever have time to build one of these! I do really like the Haltech, it's a great computer.

There's not a lot of in-progress pics, as the engine was already in the car (and a huge pain to work around!) when I got to it.. Was definitely a learning experience!!

Rice or Jim,

This car orginally had the two gm computers running the v12 is this correct????
My concern is I have one of choice wiring harnesses for my v12 and need to know if it's a good set-up or not. Apparently ccd designed the system first

Why did the owner switch to the Haltec??? Issues with the engine running or what??

Carthan this was the CCD car.

It was a "SDS" - Simple Digital System fuel injection. Yes it had two of them on it but it also had a dial on the console to regulate the A/F ratio while driving. Not a good idea when it changes constantly. He sent it to a dyno to figure out the correct settings and they couldn't get it to run correctly.
The current owner was quoted $8k to change it over by a tuning shop in PA. That is when I suggested the Haltech to Dave.
Yes it is/was the CCD car.
