I am hoping you guys can help me out? Am in the process of building a AC Cobra (DAX 427), but want to do something different so am looking to put a BMW V12 engine in but need a manual transmission for it. Here is we're the help is needed, I know you guys use transaxle units but does anyone know of an inline box that I can get to fit the engine?

Any help greatly appreciated as getting to the point where I will scrap the engine and go for a Chevy V8 instead.

Steve

You will probably need an adapter, but you can use the T5 trans and its varients like come in the Mustang and Camaro. Check some of the BMW forums and see if anyone has done this already.

There were limited 850CSi's that had a manual box, you might have some luck locating one over there

Have tried to find an 850 manual but they are either museum pieces or scrapped long time ago. I reckon though if I did find one the owner could retire on what I'd have to pay to get it.

Just learned the problem accessing Beyond Custom's website is on my end. I'm currently on a business trip in China, and for some reason the access to Custom's website is blocked, along with YouTube, PhotoBucket, and many others. Fortunately Leon & I have been in touch by email.
