As I'm progressing now, I thought it's time to publish a small teasing photo of my new supercar design. I have been working it for long time with my designer, and now it starts to materialize. I have already started to CNC-mill some plugs, and try to finish the kit as soon as possible. Even though this kit is a custom design, you may also notice some familiar bits of exotic style that people like a lot. After the expterior plugs are completed, I will make interior also, and publish those photos later on. There will be no missing parts, the kit is going to offer a full array of custom parts made less the OEM ones you need for the build. This will be installed over a custom tube chassis, and everything will fit perfectly as the body panels and mounting points are primarily designed around the chassis.

This chassis will feature a multi-link front suspension with variable and self-adjustable camber and caster angles, where are the white lines on the image are just an early prototype testing of the suspension geometry.

I decide to write something here, as it's long time when I last time visit here in this forum.

While ago i tested some new composite materials, and made a bonnet from natural fibers (Jute fiber). I were happy for the result, it was stiff enough, and strong. I have been busy with building the kit more, because I wanna take it to national kit car show at UK. So in other words, my kit should be totally finished before 1st of May. It have been really long process to make this kit, but its made to be really a working one. Not just outer skin of the car. A kit what is designed around chassis, to bolt on and have perfect panel gaps.

I am still thinking that will I build the first complete car to be gasoline or electric version. There is really nice electric motor setup for sale, but I am still worried about the battery life. If I go gasoline version I will most likely put LSX376-B15. LSX has power of 473HP @6000rpm and 444ft.-lbs of torque @5000rpm. Best thing in this engine is that it is made to handle 15 lbs. of boost without loosing warranty. With 15 lbs. of boost it will produce bit under 1000HP. Main problem will be to find a good transaxle what can handle that much power. Mendeola got one good transaxle for it, but its a bit expensive.

Like I have said before I will sell the kit without engine and transaxle, to be a rolling chassis with carbon fiber panels, all glasses lights attached etc. But as I will be building a complete demo car, and a car for my own private use, I will be using one of these setup i wrote earlier. I will have mounting points to be designed to these, then its easy for anyone to use the same setup.

Here is few renderings, Inner bonnet panel and front fender. As U can see from front fender it has multiple mounting points total of 16 pcs. Some of the mountings are bolted directly to chassis, and some of them incorporate with other panels nearby. Some other photos also.

The front mounting panel of FLT has 87 mounting points. Shown here is the older version with 83 mounting points. Last two images show where I further optimized the mounting panel to increase the strength and make it easier to be released from the mould.

- 22 mm longer door handles;
- 6-sided fuel door on the right rear fender.
