Hi everyone, The hinge that was provided in the NAERC kit for the gas filler door is pretty hard to use and feels like something is about to bend/brake if you don't pull on the door the right way.

Can anyone offer any alternatives? Thanks in advance.

this is friend of mine that sold the last week ,he used a Home Depot furniture hinge . his fuel door was out of metal so it was good to mate.

Thanks for the response. That is the exact same hinge I am using and it is much harder to open than I'd like. I asked my wife to open the gas door and it felt like she was going to brake it.

Hi Everyone, Thanks for for the input. I decided to go with the same hinges as guywithlambo. For $5 a hinge, it worked fairly well. Just needed to remove the plunger and tighten up the hinge points a bit. -Ken
