This is my video I made on how my windows automatically drop down to clear the roof so the door can open and also when I close the door the window will return to the full up position. Hope you enjoy and find this video informative.

Hi David:

that is really cool.
looking at the door guts you are building the car in a very solid, well thought out manner.
Very happy to see you still in the game.

dB..........

Thank you for your comments. I'm not sure as I didn't measure it yet, but I think it will be 2" left sticking out of the door. Yes, it is a Fiero regulator,1988.

Thanks, David Russell aka "Bopeep"

Nice work, what did you use to control the windows?

Dave...
The entire window/door operation is well done. This is what a Lambo roadster has to have.

Guys, what you see here is only part of the entire build. I have seen the rest and you just can't believe the detail!
The engine and drive train, the suspension operation and other features are beyond perfect.
I can't wait for you to see this at the next Carlisle show.

Great job Dave.

Hello everyone, I just want to thank everybody for their wonderful comments. I measured the window drop. The worst case scenario is 2 1/8 inches exposed from the top of the window wipe. At the bottom of the window trim/guide that goes up to the A pillar, the window disappears into the door at a distance of 13 inches from this point. I know this isn't what you want to know, but the polished stainless steel box contains what makes it operate. It has 3 relays and 2 special little boxes in it. A friend of mine Fred, who is an Electrical Engineer, designed the system, I just made the boxes, wired it, and installed it.
Thanks again, Dave

Hello everyone, My good friend, Ron Tanari said that I should have a secret hidden cable to open the door in the event of a power failure. This is what I am going to do, just haven't gotten to it.
Thanks again,Dave
