Hi:

Does anybody have pictures or a sketch of how D&R mounted their roof on the trunk lid for their Roadster?

Does it use the roof latch or just retain the front guide pins?

dB..................

Dale - Do you know what doner car the receiver mechanisms that are mounted to the underside of the decklid come from? Also, do you know a source for the rubber mounted receiver at front of the decklid?

Thanks!

I believe the rear receivers were the same as the trunk receiver. I believe they are VW but not sure. Also the front ones were not rubber, they receiver was actually had a pivoting whole like a heim joint. Do not remember source. I believe at one time Lambostuff.com sold replica parts. I don't see it on their website but you might contact them to see.

I saw one that simply had bolts to bolt it on. The front of the roof were guide pins and rear were two bolts. For the amount of times one might switch the roof from deck lid to roof it could be an alternative.
