Whats up fello lambies, Yes I'm working with a Cory kit and its not bad as most think. I'm about 35% into the job and I'm installing a 03 Chrysler 300 M 3.5 high output engine. Specs. and vin. # reveals that this is a hard hitter. 275 hp. 272 tq. I live here in Memphis and my best friend works for hypertech and he assured me that their chip and a computer curve can put me into the low 3's. My other friend and the Dodge dealer said that the engine is capable of 350hp and 375 tq before the head bolts and head gaskets may be a issue. I'm looking into it because the Lambo V-12 sounds like a big v-6 on steriods and a attitude. Overall my intention is a chip, a computer reprogram and a paxton supercharger. Keep your eyes and ears open for the ground pounding v6 roadster. (2BCONTINUED)

McKinley - Cool deal, Ive looked at those myself and wondered why no one seems to be using them. As a Chrysler fan it's good to see some one using a MOPAR solution in their build. I am using a Chysler in my build as well. Keep us posted Cool

It's about power under the curve, give me the buttery smooth 12 over a worked up 6 any day and I will walk away from you with a smile

As the old saying goes, "there's no substitue for cubic inches".
An increased number of power impulses doesn't hurt either.

Don , Adrian:
Sorry to say but there is a subsititute for cubic inches We here in the engine business call if CUBIC MONEY , and that is what it takes any way for most HP engines . But don,t forget the design work that is required ,
and the V-6 that we are talking about is a much better design than the M-70 anyway .

Well let's see...we are talking about at least a 14 year difference in technolgy....so lots of advancements should be expected. but you engine builders should also know that HP numbers mean nothing...TOURQE is King...give me the V-12...

But you must also remember we are talking about BMW so to get REAL power from it cubic dollars ARE REQUIRED!!!!!

But you are right the 6 has better heads but not better delivery and I could get over 1000hp and it would be smoother in the process than the 6.... Besides all we really need is to convince you that you really want to build a set of good flowing heads for the 12 Confused

I would still like to do some R&D on the M-70 and modify the DOHC
heads to fit . Cams seem to have stopped a lot of guys but i just got through rebuilding my Cam grinder and installing a DRO (ditigal read out).
Help me find a block , crank and a pair of DOHC heads and i,ll get started.

You're a bit on the high side, it's actually 250hp@6400, 250ft-lbs@4000, still on 89.
