Right seeing as pepper dissapeared adn thus we dont know if he finished his dohc project for the M70 I have gone out and bought an E36 M3 3L head (from the euro M3 which has different engine to the US engine).

Anyhow, a 10min inspecition has proved that the head gasket on the M70 fits the twin cam head perfectly, all bolt paterns, water and oil ways align up.

I will have to do a lot of work on one of the heads to reverse the cams (new cams from blanks i suspect) but at least the project has potential.
Soooo 7800rpm in my twin turbo V12 has just become a possibilty Smile

There are plenty of people on these forums it is just that the last post from this string is from Nov 28, 2010. That is 14 months ago and it was dropped back then.
There is still interest but nobody has made any new progress.

Unfortunately I have no progress as i decided to drop the V12 in favour of a v10 after I bought an M5 and realised how epic the V10 is... I'm now going to twin turbo one of these Smile
I had a custom cwp made for my box to match the V12 and now with the extra rpm the V10 has it would have a theoretical top speed of 300mph hahahahaha
Proof that one single change can have a major effect over the rest of the project!

In the meantime I have been playing with the V6 in my noble and extracted 700bhp from it by developing my own single turbo package and remade all the body in lacquered carbon fibre ( after making my own moulds) so I havnt been lazy lol
