I know a lot of guys are doing the LS1 / 915 set up without much problems. I have owned both a 915 and G50 equipped cars and the difference is night and day. The G50 is more smooth and less notchy. Is it longer? If I remember correctly there are 2 different models (not including tiptronic) and I think the one with a Limited Slip Differential is longer than a 915. I am planning on using the NAERC replica chassis and dont want the tranny poking out the rear of the body. Any comments?

Kennedy engineering are the people I ask when I have a porsche to V8 installation question.......... they've done loads and are suppliers to many mid engine Kit manufactures in the UK.

They are in the US but I don't have their number at work... I'll look it up when I get home.

I have dug out their Brochure (never said I could spell) and the do stuff for LS1 to Porsche, but it doesn't mention any details about the installation.
When I bought mine they did offer it to me as inverted or normal... I had inverted as thats the best way for an Ultima.

Their Details are

Gonna have Porsche on your built you need to pick the right chassis consider the dimensions of the tranny or else you need to fabricate a space frame to make the engine and the transmission fit together.

Yes, my v8 small block with my G50 barely fit, had to make extra space.
