I have purchased a 91 BMW, but I have not started on the wiring yet. I have not figured out which tranny I will be using either. I am interested in the adapters that you are looking into. Jarod

Adrian, I could be interested in a BMW to G50 adapter, as well as a flywheel, clutch, etc.

UPDATE:

The adapter is done, I am sourcing a clutch that will handle the power of the 12 and then the flywheel will get machined, it will be steel, though Al with steel insert can be made for a fee. I will post a few pics later showing the starter mounted and without the need to notch the trans.

The plan is to have some avail for purchase at Carlisle this month

I just got of the phone with the clutch mfgr, they will not have the clutches ready for Carlisle. But FYI it is going to handle 500+ # of TQ so it is definitely going to be worth the wait
