I would want just the bare chassis. I will use a ford V8 engine and probably vett suspension. Plus I want to use 180 degree headers on it.

ok 84-90 vett suspension will work for front now what are you going to run for rear what kind of trany hard to get a adapter for ford which ford motor do you want to use 4.6 overhead cam is nice, see a bare chassis wont have any mounting tabs for suspension or motor etc i need the suspension motor trany steering column to make a proper chassis

The GT40 guys use Ford engines all the time and have no problem with transaxles and adapters for transaxles.

The cockpit on a countach is farther forward by at least 10 inches than a fiero the firewall on a countach starts at the end of the doors at the same angle as the top back side of doors so the steering column has to be moved forward i moved mine 8 inches i left the pedals stock then i removed half my heater unit this only works if you dont have ac if you want ac then you can run an aftermarket heater unit then i made a false firewall "sub box"
black car is a fiero red car is tube chassis when i remove my interior i will add pictures of mods i have done .

Great job! What hinges did you use on the car, and do you make them? How much?
