I have been slowly working on the new project. This involves taking the OEM suspension off of a Honda S2000 and replicating it to fit a Lotus Super 7 chassis. You can see progress here http://www.lambobuilder.com/LS7/index.html

That is a really cool project and I couldn't think of a better person to make it right.
I want to follow your build as well as Switta's and anyone else who is building a special hand-made project. After all this is KITcentral and whether it is a true kit or completely hand-made, it is what we all enjoy.
Keep up the good work.

My son had started this and already has the engine and drive train. Thought it would be nice to do something that does not take 5 years and $50,000

One of the books says you can build one for 250Pounds. Just like a Diablo, too many variables. See the reference materials http://lambobuilder.com/LS7/chassis/frame.html

I looked at that link Dale and their prices are very high, if I were you guys I would check http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=%22Build+Your+Own+Sports+Car%22 for this book, the 2nd addition is only from £39.94 and the 1st edition from £8.26 even with shipping to the US you could probably save a few dollars. Just a thought.

Added new pictures of the mounts for the differential. Got a wheel on one side. Will probably redo once everything is finalized. http://www.lambobuilder.com/LS7/chassis/suspension.html
I'll go back and check the link to the books. I had copied and pasted Amazon link. Thanks for the additional information. My son had both books when he came back from school so not sure what he paid for them.
