Cool dude. I won't be building another custom made anything. I don't know how you guys keep doing it.

I might consider a FFR car, but not hand built.

I have wanted a Lotus 7 (or one of its successors) for thirty years. It is such a simple and pure auto; it is impossible to resist.

Well its been way over 3 years since I posed on this project. It had been setting on welding table while we designed and built a new house. I managed to fit an a 30 x 40 workshop and install all the equipment I had when we had Exotic Dream builders.

Deconstructed the build down to the frame, put it on the chassis rotisserie that we used for the Diablo. ground off all the rust, did some final welds, and did a rough primer. Also modified the old engine stand from the LS1 to hold the S2000 engine and tranny.

I wondered what happened to that project.
Looking good!
Now you have to keep us updated.
Thanks Dale.

Made more progress. Learning all kind of fabrication skills. Never had to make the entire back end of a car before.

That is so cool, Dale.
I love Tractor Supply. LOL
What are the taillights? They look like a pickup truck unit.
Good to see you back on that project.

Tail lights are from a 2000 Yukon (actually fits all kinds of vehicles). Think total was around $65. Fenders were $40 each. Will need to widen them eventually but saw how to do that years ago on American Chopper.
