Hi Guys:

The 350 SBC I have does NOT have a timing tab on it.
Is there an accurate way to do the timing without the tab?

I did buy a new timing tab but trying to install it on an engine inn the car requres the interior taken out to get to the firewall access hatch or moving the engine back 12", either way, not a good deal.

dB......................

If you have a vacuum guage you set the timing using it instead of a timing light.

Hi:
Yes, I have a vacuum gauge but not familiar with setting the timing that way.
What all is involved, it it a standard procedure?
