Here's the side window glass in frames Ged built. I show these pics in my thread as well but this will be easier for interested parties to search out for their cars
Window glass is made by Pilkington Glass UK
Frames by Ged Sweeny, formally Black Bull Productions
transportation service to pick up my glass sitting in OHio for longer than I care to talk about graciously provided by Mike B. THANK YOU sir!

Cheers,
Will

Hi,

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but is the glass and frame curved? I've got a Countess Countach (from NZ) and I'm looking to replace the side window glass and frames on the doors from flat to curved.

Also, what window winder mechanism would be siutable. My current set-up has fixed glass.

Any details where I could source curved glass and frames for the Countach would be appreciated.

Cheers
JT

It is a company from Argentina, I have a set. Unfortunately it is in Georgia and I am in Texas so I cannot look and see the name. This is not the same company that I get the Countach and Merci windshields from. I also have the channel in four foot sticks. It is not OEM and it is not accurate to the millimeter, it was designed to work with currently available window felt.

I do not want to sell the set that I have. I have explored having copies made from these windows and quarters but just did not see the return on investment. I have just recently agreed to provide a scan of them so that someone else could pursue making copies. I can keep you posted on that but I am thinking the entire process is some time from completion and I do not know the projected price.

Edit: I just reread that, does he need the frame or the glass?

howdy, long time here....well Peter Swan of Pilkington glass uk does have all the info and sells curved side glass..I also know that i lent mine to my buddy to make fiberglass templates, he still has it... As far as window frames, I've not heard from Ged in at least a year, so not sure I will ever get in touch with him again, guess it's up to us to figure something out

I'm getting somewhere with my search for curved glass to replace the flat ones. I've got some information from Pilkington Glass regarding part numbers. Some of the measurements I received don't look right (particularly on the depth of the L/H Opera glass. What is the Opera glass?)

Anyway, can someone please confirm if these are the part numbers that I need for curved glass doors on the Countach QV?

Left Hand side door (passenger side in Australia)
L/H Front quarter glass - A0570
L/H Top window glass - A0518
L/H Botton window glass - A0519

Right Hand side door (driver side in Australia)
R/H Front quarter glass - A0571
R/H Top window glass - A0517
R/H Botton window glass - A0520

Cheers
